Doing a speech in Eng 101.

Doing this speech in class was probably one of the scariest things I've ever done in my life. I don't understand why I was so nervous. I know everyone in our class and I enjoy talking to them all. I can go to a motocross race with tens or thousands of people and talk to them all and have to talk for interviews and I would never get nervous, but something about being graded and judged just makes me feel all weird. It wasn't too bad but defiantly enough to make me scared and very nervous about messing up or sounding stupid in front of my classmates. I know now after taking this class that I need to take a speech class to better my speeching skills in front of class mates. I know out at races or anything out side of a school setting I am amazing when it comes to speeches and talking but inside a class room setting there's nothing going for me there. All in all my speech went better then was I expected and my classmates played a big part by helping me relax.

Working on our dirtbikes.

Working on our practice bikes is pretty easy to me. I get paid from Monster Energy Pro circuit Kawasaki to work on my dirt bike as well as my brothers. Our race bikes can only be worked on by our race teams mechanics and we are not allowed to touch anything on those bikes at all. Each one of our race bikes are worth around $150,000. Every single bolt and part on our race bikes are titanium. Which is the most expensive metal and strongest metal you can put on the bikes today. They are extremely fast and run amazing. The practice bikes that I work on are completely stock motors with a Pro circuit exhaust system but they have the same exact $35,000 suspension on them as our race bikes so that it feels the same as our race bikes but not nearly as fast. Working on bikes and racing them are my passion and I wouldn't trade it for the world. Getting paid to race a dirt bike and to work on a dirt bike is a dream come true and I can not wait until I'm done with school so I can continue to race full time with no distractions.

Spring Break in California

Spring Break was super amazing! My brother and I had to drive to California for some races and to also hang out with all our old friends. When we got to our house in California all of our old friends were there to surprise us. It was so much fun and made my year to see them all. The next day we had to drive out to the Ranch MX for the race. We stayed in the trailer for the next two days at the track for the race. We qualified for all our races and made top 5 in every single class we were signed up for. When we got home Sunday night my friends picked me up and took me to a hookah bar/club in California where over a 100 of my friends were there for a surprise party. That was the most fun I had in a very long time. The next couple of days was training with our trainer in California from 8-4pm. Once we got home everyday we had to was our bikes then go to the gym. We did that every day. We ended up leaving California Friday morning and got back to South Carolina Saturday night. We drove straight through without stopping at all for gas. Coming to our house in South Carolina was really sad and made me realized how much I missed California and how great life is there compared to here.

Asking my girlfriend out.

So first day of sociology class I was sitting down and this beautiful fashionable girl walked in to my class and i was just in wow! Her smile, her style, her voice just made me go nuts in my head. I tried small talking her the whole semester but she really didn't seem to interested. I continued to try small talk and making her laugh as much as I could in class. I found out from another girl I knew that she had a boyfriend and I was super bummed. A couple of weeks ago I messaged her on face book and we started talking a lot and she told me she had been single for while and I knew it was now or never. We started hanging a lot and having an amazing time. I never met a girl in my life that clicked like this one. She was perfect and I knew she was the only one for me. I finally brought her home to meet my family and she did the same with hers. We started calling each other boyfriend and girlfriend but I wanted it to be special so I decided to ask her officially. I invited her over to my house for dinner and when she got here I asked her to put her bags in my room. When she walked in she saw her favorite flowers in a vase that I bought when a poster I put on my wall asking her to be my girlfriend. I know it sounds lame but it was cute and she loved it and said yes.

Aidens Birthday.

Today we went to my cousins Aiden's birthday party. I was at home doing homework waiting for my girlfriend and family to get ready while I was taking my history final exam. I finished my final the same time they were finished getting ready. I finally got ready and we started driving to Anderson. When we got there it was really awkward because it was at my cousins boyfriends house with his family we've never met. They were completely different then our family. They hung out on one side of the party while we sat on the other side. They were all smoking cigarette's and we were just having a good time. They were mostly like low end class and were missing teeth due to rotting and just really ghetto. We wanted to leave so bad when we got there but we had to wait because we love our little cousin. We ended up being at their house for over four hours and never really talked to anyone in their family because they were intimidated by us and we were intimidated by them. We made some small talk but really just stuck to ourselves. It was a fun party because we made it fun but other then that we would probably never go to that house again.

Supercross!!!

Supercross is a big part of my life. Ive been racing supercross for five years now and this is the first time in five years that I havent raced. When I got to the race in atlanta I got to see all my friends from California and other parts of the US. It was super exciting. I got to the pits where all the teams and all the riders are located. We got our VIP passes for the team we race for. And my two good friends Justin Bogle and Justin Barcia got me some VIP passes for the Geico Muscle Milk Honda team. We ended up staying with them the whole day. It was funny because the team ended up getting Kevin Windom three different birthday cakes for his birthday. It wasn't for another 4 days, but the team did it early. When the races began there was some pretty bad crashes. In the end my good friends ended up all placing in the main event and some of my other friends didn't make the main at all.

Los Angeles Lakers!

They Lakers are really killing me this year. They play amazing on some days and horrible the rest. The biggest thing they need to do is to trade some players for a good point guard. Right now the Lakers are hurting bad for a point guard. The point guards we have are really good players make big shots but the problem is they can not guard other point guards that have more speed and score much better. They tried to get Chris Paul in a trade but it didnt go threw and now the Clippers for the first time in God knows when actually has a better record as of right now. I think once the Lakers decide to finally make a good trade that goes threw, the Lakers will win the Championship. The team the have now will make it to the playoffs and will go very far into the playoffs but, will not make a chamionship unless they make this big change. I hope they do this soon because if they dont win a title this year or come close because of a trade issue Kobe Bryant will force a trade of himself to another team and LA will never be the same. So Lakers need to hurry up and make a trade before the deadline!

Stressing Out!

So we have to go to California and planned on going on the 16th of March. Now I found out that we have to be at a race for the Loretta qualifier on March 16th in OK. So I have to miss more days of school that I planned. Once that race is over we have to get to Southern California where our house is and start training the next day! Monday- Friday we will have to train every single day! The gym from 5-7am then we have to be at what ever track they are making us ride at, then train from 8-3, come home relax for 2 hours and go on a road bike ride from 6-8. Once the weekend comes along we have to drive to The Ranch Motocross track to race another Loretta qualifier! After racing is over sunday afternoon we have to drive straight to Ontario airport so that my brother could drop me off. They will keep my truck and continue racing and training until I'm done with my semester. The day that schools over I have to fly back to California and get ready for all the Loretta regionals. June 2-3 we will be racing in Texas then leave straight from Texas to Northern California to race there and once that race is over driving straight back to Southern California to do the last Loretta regional. Once were finished with the last Loretta regional we have to drive straight up north to race the Mammoth National and will be there for about two weeks with all the practices and racing. Finally when all that racing is done with go back to Southern California for about twenty days to continue training. On June 22 we have to be in OK for the Ponca City Grand National race and will be there for a week. The day that race ends we have to drive to Loretta Lynn National Championship in TN. We will be there for two weeks racing and hopefully we all do really amazing. Then come back home to the great state of South Carolina to continue training til the next big race that comes up! This is going to be a hard couple of months coming up for sure!

Blogs should be due by sunday night!!!

I dont understand why these blogs can't be due every Sunday instead of every Friday. I have school Monday thru Friday and when I get out of class friday the only thing on my mind is going riding the next three days. I am so excited to get out of class to go to the track my mind goes blank til sunday about five pm when we get home from practice. If it were due on Sundays it would be a lot less stress and forgetfulness on my part to finish these blogs. I hope I dont loose points on this one either since its late. Mrs. Smith if your reading this you should put this in your thoughts and hopefully you'll like my idea. But until then I need to put an alarm on my phone for every Friday around 10 pm so then I would have two hours to finish these blogs. I hope you like my idea and hopefully these will be due on Sundays!

At the Track

It's so funny when you meet someone new at the track. They talk about how fast they are and how they smoke everyone. When we got to the track this weekend the big mouth rider was there. He started running his mouth before any of us even got on the track. We waited til he got on the track then started riding our first motos. It was about two laps into it and my little brother and I fly by this dude. When my brother passed him he just let him go, but when I was passing him he decided that he didn't want me to pass him and tried cleaning me out for no reason on the next corner. So I let him go by. When the next corner came around I cleaned his ass off the track and he went went flipping off his bike. When I was done with my moto I pulled back into the pits where my truck was parked. The dude and his dad came running over to me and were were furious. They were talking all this crap about being fast and going to smoke every one, but when it came down to it he was a dirty ass rider. They were complaining that I tried to injure their rider. I responded I was doing my moto, He was in my way I made a clean pass and your rider tried to clean me out. So in the next corner I took him out so that I could finish my moto without idiots in my way. They got all but hurt and walked away because they knew if you are slower then someone you need to move out of the way but some idiots try to think they are just as fast. My final thought about this... Gooners need to get off the track and stop trying to act like they are something!
